Student Engagement Platform ActiveClass raises 1.9 million in seed fund

ActiveClass, an Adtech startup focused on improving student success and sustaining through good student commitment, has raised 1.9 million as part of its seed funding round led by veteran Adtech investors and leading riz rizona software investor PHX Ventures.

The round was attended by several angel investors and executives from successful Arizona Adtech companies Campslogic and Charmament.

The company plans to use the new capital to build its growth engine, increase customer support and accelerate product development.

Founded by Nate Hurst in 2021, ActiveClass helps schools and coaches build active learning communities that increase student participation and improve student outcomes. The platform’s intuitive social tools fit seamlessly into LMS and enable instructors and students to easily post, discuss, and grade any and all course-related topics. ActiveClass ensures excellent course communication, student collaboration and community building, all in a single device that sits within the LMS.

Commenting on the fund, Active Class co-founder and CEO Nate Hurst said,

We are focused on creating unique solutions that help students stay connected, stay connected and improve their sense of community and belonging to you, no matter where they are. This money will ensure that we have the right resources to do it. “

The startup believes that improving students and improving connections could have a positive impact on the नुक 16.5 billion annual loss. ActiveClass is also creating social-first tools that can be easily used where students and teachers already spend most of their time, LMS.

Adtech veteran Steve Morris (Campuslogic, Square) said,

Ive Ktivclass bought the noteball and its accompanying property in June this year. The acquisition was made possible by a private fund called PHX Ventures, which focuses on young, high-growth companies.
