Romanian Adtech Kinderpedia extends M 1.8M to facilitate school management and communication

Kinderpedia, the Romanian Adtech platform that provides education management and communication solutions to schools and kindergartens, raised 1. 1.8 million in a round of funding led by Early Game Ventures.

Existing investors ROCA X, Growceanu and several business angels are also participating in the round.

Kinderpedia, headquartered in Bucharest, is an innovative platform for education that provides educational institutions with the complete digital infrastructure they need to work smart and communicate efficiently, both in the classroom and online.

Founded in 2015 by Daniel Rogoz, the company has more than 2,000 schools and kindergartens in 14 countries across three continents, with a total of 200,000 registered users on their platform.

KinderPedia claims that it helps teachers and educators save 6 to 9 hours of administrative time per week and allows them to focus their efforts on an excellent and personalized educational law. The application includes full class management features- electronic gradebook, attendance, daily schedule, remote video learning, homework module and document library.

Startup works with more than 24 functional modules. The input or output of each user’s module is customized to reflect their real life needs.

The platform also gives principals a holistic view of all school and kindergarten activities and communication. In addition, it provides automated currency, financial management and online payment of tuition fees by integrating with electronic payment systems.

Currently, Kinderpedia is available in 15 languages ​​and serves as a native mobile app for Android and iOS, teachers and managers, and students and parents. The solution is widely recognized nationally and Europeanly for its innovative form and social impact. The European Commission has awarded Kinderpedia the seal of excellence under the SME Instrument Program, Phase II.

Last month, Kinderpedia raised an anonymous fund led by InnovX BCR. In 2020, he collected € 420,000 in seeds from ROCA X. So far, the company has raised a total of $ 3.6 million.
