There are many web tools that you can use to record your screen and create a variety of educational video content. In today’s post I am sharing with you this great screencasting tool called Recordcast. I’ve already reviewed it and it has come under my radar again via my Twitter Jake Miller
Combines two main functionality: screen recording and video editing. Recordcast allows you to record your screen in three different modes: you can only record your webcam, only your screen or both screen and webcam. Once your recording is ready you can use the integrated video editor to edit your recording as you wish. For example, you can crop your recordings, change text effects, overlays, dynamic elements, music, background colors, and more.
You can use RecordCast to record online meetings, create video tutorials, give explanations, demos, and more. The way the recordcast works is easy. Set video and audio recording mode first. Next select the recording area and start recording your screen. When you’re done, download your recording to MP4 and share it with others. Note that the recording of the recordcast is limited to 30 minutes only.
