Delhi-based Mindler acquires virtual career internship platform Emersi

Mindler, a comprehensive career guidance platform for students and teachers, has announced the acquisition of Immrse, a virtual career internship and simulation platform in cash and stock deals.

With editing. Immrse’s Mindler will be rebranded as Immrse, and all Immrse team members will join Mindler at the end of the edit.

Through this agreement, Mindler will focus on providing virtual career internships to school and college students through schools / institutions, career counselors and EdTech partners.

Founded in 2017 by an alumnus of Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Immrse is a revolutionary platform that enables students to gain virtual career internships through an experiential, immersive and self-paced career search program. It is a cross between an educational course, a role-playing game, a masterclass and a practical work experience. Virtual career internships allow students to delve deeper into many traditional and new-age careers, including engineering, medicine, filmmaking, graphic designing, law, psychology, ethical hacking, and more.

Immrse has already made an impact on more than 10,000 students in grades 8-12 and has collaborated with over 100 counselors and EdTech companies.

Commenting on the latest edition, Prateek Bhargava, Founder and CEO of Mindler, said, “We welcome the Emers team to the Mindler family and look forward to adding this revolutionary product to our portfolio. This is a very effective approach to enabling career decision making. Through our pilot project, we found that 98.7% of students found this experience really useful and we look forward to creating many more virtual career internships in the near future. “

According to NEP 2020, internship opportunities should be made available to higher education students and more than 88% of Indian youth prefer to do internship as per India Skills Report 2020. Also, it is currently impossible or difficult for students under the age of 18 to do an internship. Given that it is important for students to make informed decisions about their careers, virtual career internships are an innovative solution that enables students to take a scientific and well-established approach to this problem.

Bhargava further said, “We are also looking forward to taking advantage of the amazing opportunities opened up by this collaboration between Mindler and Emerson. With the progressive implementation of NEP, Career Guidance will become a focal point for schools and institutions and we are developing a number of innovative plans.” We are committed to delivering personalized career guidance solutions to students and to assist in their holistic development through integrated co-curricular measures – a key mandate of the new educational policy. “

Including a portfolio of Mindler’s existing career research and planning tools including its revolutionary 5-dimensional career assessment, automated career activities and career planning tools, and career instructor-led guidance for college research, planning and application; Immrse’s Virtual Career Internship will be a great addition to create a comprehensive offer for students involved in the student’s career planning journey and for all other stakeholders.

Founded in July 2015 by Pratik Bhargava, Mindler is a technology-enabled ecosystem for career planning and development for students. The Delhi-based startup aims to enable all stakeholders in the student’s career decision-making journey. In addition to a comprehensive career guidance platform for students, SaaS also provides a platform for Middler teachers and EdTech partners to build their own career guidance ecosystem.

Immrse’s founder, Pratham Sutaria, also responded to the development, saying, “Imrse has developed a kind of empirical product to facilitate in-depth career search. This product includes a new-age career simulation that helps students understand careers. Practical options before deciding on a career. This product is designed to address the issues related to career decision making and the confusion facing millions of students in today’s age. We have received overwhelming customer feedback and reviews from over 10,000 students. Our integrity rates are also significantly higher than those of tech products. Joining the Mindler ecosystem will only help us accelerate growth. There is high coordination and we look forward to growing together with Mindler. “
