Creative Galileo, a Singapore-based Adtech startup focused on India, has raised 2.5 2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Kalari Capital.
The funding round was also joined by Harish Bahl, Shashin Shah, Jinesh Patel, Atul Nishwar, Ashwin Puri, and Giridhar Malpani.
The company plans to use the new funds to hire more employees, create more content and build more partnerships with the animation house.
Creative Galileo is an e-learning app that brings together the best learning and entertainment to create a personalized learning experience for three to six year olds. Exploring the world through statistics, language, art and aesthetics, social and emotional learning, motor skills and narrative video, gamification and personalized learning journey-the platform focuses on six learning areas.
Co-founded by Inspiration Jhunjhunwala and Nikhil Naik in 2020, Creative Galileo’s vision is to provide high quality content for learning while keeping the process fun. The company has contracts with studios such as Big Animation, Periwinkle, Shemaroo and Tunz Animation. Since its inception, the app has been downloaded 4 million times and has garnered 500,000 monthly active users, mostly from India. About 10% of those downloads come from other markets like Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE and USA.
Changing from traditional teaching methods, the app teaches students through the characters of the Indian animated television series Little Singham. It offers a range of research-based games and videos designed to stimulate children’s brains, enable them to respond more, and help improve their reflexes. The app focuses on values such as friendship, kindness, helpfulness and ethics.
Last month, the startup partnered with Immortal Picture Story and acquired the rights to a wide range of characters to create games and videos for kids.

For Kalari, Creative Galileo is the first investor in its flagship CXXO program, which began earlier this year.
Creative Galileo plans to expand into Southeast Asia and integrate into local language apps like Bahasa Indonesian and Bahasa Malaysia. The target is to have 10 million downloads in all markets over the next 14 months.
